
Lori Kerr, CEO
FinDev Canada
Lori Kerr joined FinDev Canada as Chief Executive Officer in June 2021. A Canadian national, she is a widely experienced international development finance professional with more than two decades of leadership in private investment in emerging markets with a focus on sustainable infrastructure, climate finance, and blended finance. Ms. Kerr joined FinDev Canada by way of the Global Infrastructure Facility at the World Bank in Washington, DC, where she was responsible for corporate strategy, thought leadership, partnerships, and international engagement for the largest global fund advising developing country governments on the preparation and structuring of commercially viable infrastructure projects.
Ms. Kerr holds an Honours bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario and an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Andrew Johnstone, CEO
Climate Fund Managers
Andrew is one of the co-founders of CFM. Prior to CFM, Andrew was the CEO of African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), a joint venture of infrastructure investors Macquarie and Old Mutual, and the Chairman of Macquarie Africa. Andrew is an experienced professional in the African infrastructure sector and has been involved in the structuring, raising and deployment of five unlisted infrastructure fund vehicles in Africa, prior to his involvement in CFM. Andrew is also the non-executive Chairman of the Investment Committee of two infrastructure credit funds, being the Stanbic IBTC Infrastructure Fund in Nigeria and the Sanlam Impact Infrastructure Fund in South Africa.
Andrew has a BSc Civil Engineering degree from the University of Natal in South Africa, and a MBA -Engineering Management and Finance degree from the City University in London, UK.

Christopher Marks, Head of Growth Markets, Innovative Finance & Portfolio Solutions, MUFG
Dr. Christopher Marks has worked in the financial markets and financial sector advisory, across the public and private sector, for more than 25 years. He holds a PhD from Princeton University and is Managing Director, Head of Emerging Markets EMEA in MUFG Bank. Dr. Marks was previously Global Head of Debt Capital Markets at BNP Paribas in London. During his capital markets career, he specialized in sovereign and quasi-sovereign finance and debt management, advising the French, German and Greek governments. Prior to his career as an investment banker, he worked as a public finance specialist, with a particular focus on intergovernmental finance. He has worked for the World Bank, OECD, Price Waterhouse International Privatization Group and as a three-year resident US Government Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, Republic of Poland.
Christopher holds a M.A. Johns Hopkins SAIS; D.E.A. Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris; Ph.D. Princeton University External Advisory Council, Julis-Rabinowitz Centre for Public Policy and Finance, Princeton University.

Leslie Maasdorp, CEO
British International Investment
Leslie Maasdorp is the CEO of BII. He was previously Vice- President and Chief Financial Officer of the New Development Bank, based in Shanghai, for nine years.
Over the past 25 years, he held senior leadership positions at global financial institutions, including serving as International Advisor to Goldman Sachs, Vice Chairman of Barclays Capital and President of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in South Africa.
In the early years of South Africa’s democratic era, he held key roles in the Government of South Africa, as Special Advisor to the Minister of Labour and Deputy Director-General responsible for Restructuring of State-owned Enterprises.
